The Oscar Awards 2022 (94th Academy Awards) were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The night was hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes, marking the first time since Anne Hathaway and James Franco co-hosted the 83rd edition in 2011 that the award ceremony had several hosts.

The Oscar Awards 2022 (94th Academy Awards) will recognize films that were released between January 1 and December 31, 2021. On February 8, actors Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan announced the nominees.

The film The Power of the Dog received 12 nominations. With ten points, Dune came in second, followed by Belfast and West Side Story, both with seven points. King Richard received six nominations.

This year, there are two new categories: Oscars Fan Favorite Award and Oscars Cheer Moment, both of which will be determined by online fan voting from February 14 through March 3, 2022.

Writing With Fire, an Indian documentary, was nominated for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards (Feature).

A. R. Rahman – A. R. Rahman, a well-known musician and vocalist who has worked on a number of Indian and foreign films, was honored at the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 for the film “Slumdog Millionaire” in the categories of “Best Original Score” and “Best Original Song.”

Gulzar – Gulzar, a well-known poet and prominent Hindi song writer, won the 81st Academy Award for “Best Original Song” for the film “Slumdog Millionaire” in 2009.
